Taiyuan Valley, a canyon in Eastern Taiwan, is located in the lower reaches of mawuku stream. It is one of the tourist attractions in Donghe Township, Taidong county. Taiyuan Valley is located in the section of mawukuxi River, which generally refers to the section between Donghe bridge and Taiyuan village. The whole journey is about 4 km long. Provincial Road Tai 23 (Fudong highway) runs eastward from Taiyuan village along Taiyuan Valley, and finally reaches Donghe bridge. After connecting with Provincial Road Tai 11, Taiyuan Valley is the only external connection road of Taiyuan village.
