Old name [new garbage bridge], located in the west of Zhejiang Road and bridge, across the Wusong River (Suzhou River), Tibet Middle Road, Tibet North Road connection point.

Xizang Road and bridge with European flavor is located at the intersection of Suzhou River and Xizang Road in Shanghai. It was built in 1922.

There is a five storey reinforced concrete building in the north of Luqiao in Tibet. It was once the warehouse of the central, China, communications and agriculture banks in the period of the Republic of China.

On August 13, Xie Jinyuan, deputy of the 524th regiment of the 88th division, led about 800 officers and soldiers to fight against the Japanese invaders with the "Sixing warehouse" as the main stronghold. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, the people of Shanghai set up "Jinyuan Road", "Jinyuan middle school" and "Jinyuan garden" to commemorate the Anti Japanese heroic generals. Jinyuan Road, renamed from Manzhou Road, is on both sides of the north end of Xizang Road and bridge. Therefore, when you mention Tibet Road and bridge, you will think of the great achievements of "800 heroes", and Tibet Road and bridge will become a bridge of special significance.

After years of use, many roads and bridges in Tibet were damaged. After liberation, they were overhauled three times. With the development and change of the city, the environment on both sides of Suzhou River is undergoing great changes. The width of Tibet Road and bridge is only 18 meters, which is becoming more and more unusable. Soon, the old bridge will be abdicated, and a stable and magnificent landscape bridge will be erected on the Suzhou River.
