Chaoyang cave

Chaoyang cave is located in the southwest of Longquan Temple, Haidian District, Beijing, China. It passes through baimangling (commonly known as damenkan) from the back of pilipu mountain. Sometimes the mountain torrents are violent, like the Yellow Dragon leaping up, which is like "flying down 3000 feet, it is suspected that the Milky way has fallen nine days.". "Local people call" white water.

There is a "Bangchui mountain" to the West and north of Chaoyang cave, and the Huangpu courtyard is about two miles below it.

Historical legend

It is said that the nine Fairies in the sky can't bear the loneliness of the heavenly palace. They come here by cloud and fog. When they see a pool of clear water, they take off their fairy clothes and jump into the pool to have fun. There is a sacred cow peak in the south of the five ridges. There is a cave in the middle of the mountain. People call it "Niulang cave". A cowherd is dozing in it. The sacred cow wakes him up and tells him to run to the nine women's vats and report a fairy dress. The weaver girl can't fly to heaven, so she gets married with him.
