There is a patio. There are corridors on both sides of the patio. There is a wing room on the left and right of the main hall. The back is the kitchen, bathroom and toilet. Between the hall and the kitchen is the staircase. The second floor is divided into the front hall and the hall, both of which are nine purlin type buildings with overhanging hill type roof, with wing rooms on both sides and a partition between the secondary rooms; the front hall is of bucket type, with a concealed door, and a 9 m long and 1.2 m wide corridor outside.

On January 5, 1930, in response to Lin Biao's pessimism about "how long will the red flag last", Comrade Mao Zedong wrote Lin Biao a reply of nearly ten thousand words. In the letter, Mao Zedong criticized Lin Biao's pessimistic thought, especially emphasized the importance of adhering to the rural revolutionary struggle, and firmly believed that the climax of the Chinese revolution would come. At first, the letter was printed and distributed to cadres and soldiers under the title of "the estimation of the current situation and the action of the Red Army". Later, in some places, it was also printed and distributed under the title of "a letter from Comrade Mao Zedong to Comrade Lin Biao". In 1948, Lin Biao proposed to the Central Committee that his name should not be mentioned when it was published in public. Mao Zedong agreed with this opinion. When the first edition of selected works of Mao Zedong was published after liberation, the title of the letter was changed to "a single spark can start a prairie fire", and the place named for criticizing Lin Biao was also deleted.
