The courtyard was built in 1878, which lasted for 12 years. It is a multi courtyard house with a depth of 56 meters, a construction area of 2500 square meters, 51 rooms and 108 doors. The single eaves suspended Hill Style roof, through the bucket and lifting beam type wood frame, the building is meaningful and elegant, integrated with the environment, facing the riverside Jinlong and Yinlong temples. The courtyard is surrounded by four units.

There are three horizontal rectangular patios, flower stands, railings and cloisters in two, three and four columns. At the back of the house, there is a small garden arranged symmetrically. Outside the wall, there is a lotus pond and a garden. There are front hall, open hall, living room, embroidery building, study, granary and storehouse on the central axis of the hospital. The roof is decorated with immortals, animals, etc., and a vase sculpture is set on the main ridge. There are many exquisite wood components in the room, with vivid composition.

"Yang's residence" is a second class official mansion built by the ancestors of former president Yang Shangkun, commonly known as "Tianba courtyard". The compound was built in 1878 and completed in 1890. It took 24 years and covers an area of more than 5000 square meters. It is a classic residential building in Qing Dynasty with large scale, rigorous layout and exquisite architecture. It is a multi courtyard house with a depth of 56 meters, a construction area of 2500 square meters, 51 rooms and 108 doors. Architecture

The plane building of the compound is an introverted rectangle, with four units in horizontal row, and the courtyard is a quadrangle compound. In the first row, there is a square patio with a small patio on the left and right; in the second and third rows, there are two large horizontal rectangular patio courtyards with the central axis, nine double doors, deep and symmetrical chambers. In addition to the gorgeous hall and wing rooms, there are also two pairs of ear towers, commonly known as "little sister tower".

There are small gardens on the ground beside the pavilion, and precious flowers and trees such as Chimonanthus praecox, grape and huangjuelan are planted everywhere. They are fragrant all the year round, forming a miniature natural landscape with gardens in the pavilion and pavilions in the garden. According to the feudal ritual pattern of "grading the superior and the inferior, classifying the noble and the humble, and distinguishing the interior from the exterior", a row of independent "Changgong garden" and kitchens were separated from the courtyard. If the gates are closed, they will be locked in a single row, forming their own boudoir courtyard; if the gates are opened, the houses in each row will be connected in collusion, forming a regular and compact pattern that there is a courtyard in the courtyard and a door in the door. The decoration of the courtyard is exquisite. Among them, the lintel and curtain are exquisitely carved, and the diagonal bracing of the two columns in front of the hall is superb. It has a high cultural taste from design to construction, and its academic value is needless to say, it is known as the "Qing Dynasty Folk House Museum".
