Overall layout

The main building complex is located in the north and south, and is divided into two courtyards by the fire wall. The front courtyard includes the mountain gate, the front, middle and back triple Buddha Hall, as well as the Sutra room, the Zen room, the bell tower, the East-West lotus pond and the stone tablet Sutra building. In the backyard, there is a Buddha Hall and two stone tablets. There are also a number of temple affiliated buildings. The front courtyard gate is a single eaves hard mountain building with eaves Gallery in the south. It is three rooms wide, with one ear door on each side of the mountain gate. The front hall is a single eaves hard mountain structure with three wide faces. On the west side, there are three side halls. On the east side, there is a square clock tower built of stone and green bricks. On the top of the building, there are brick carvings and wooden brackets. The central hall is a single eaves hard mountain building with one room wide and three rooms deep. There are corridors on all sides. Under the eaves, there are three steps of single arch, dragon and Phoenix Ridge. Most of the kisses and ridge beasts still exist. On the east side of the central hall, the lotus pond built with stones is not complete, but the west pond is abandoned.

The back hall is three rooms wide, with single eaves and hard mountain structure. The Sutra (Zen) rooms on both sides of the middle hall and back hall are also single eaves and hard mountain structure.

Rebuilding the temple

Between the front hall of Anguo temple and the mountain gate, there are stone tablets in the 14th year of Shunzhi and the 59th year of Kangxi, one for "the restoration of Anguo Temple" and the other for "the restoration of bell tower". Between the middle hall and the back hall, there are two steles, one for the restoration of the golden statue of Anguo temple in the first year of Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, and the other for the orthodox of Cao Dong.

The fire wall (named after the stone tablet) is about 4 meters high, and the whole temple is divided into front and back from east to west. In the center of the fire wall is the gate tower, with the patterns of two dragons playing with pearls carved on the inner and outer edges and forehead. In the south of the fire wall, the brick dragon pattern is carved on the east side, the Kirin pattern is carved on the west side, and the wuruitu pattern is carved on both sides of the lintel. The main hall is on the north side of the fire wall. It has a five room wide surface. It has a single eaves and a hard mountain structure. Under the eaves, there are three steps, single arch and Dragon Phoenix Ridge. The brick carvings such as kisses and animals and the wood carvings of eight immortals under the eaves are basically complete. The carved six grid doors are basically intact. The four small octagonal polished blue stone columns bearing the eaves under the veranda were revised and replaced in 1846. They are about 3 meters high and carved with couplets
