Jinshui primary school

·Completed in 1933, Huang's family built it after returning home from overseas. It was the newest and largest western style primary school in Taiwan at that time.

·Arabic western architecture, gables decorated with carvings, such as angels, eagles, add lively color and folk beauty.

·There is also an a shape in the middle of the school gate. In the west, a stands for excellence. It is intended to encourage students to study hard and get the best results.

·Seen from the top, it is a "Hui" shape, conveying that overseas Chinese who are looking forward to going out from here remember to go home.

·Now it is an exhibition hall for overseas Chinese. It retains the original appearance of the classroom in the past, reproduces the struggling history of Shuitou people going to Nanyang to work hard and start a business, and encourages and educates future generations.

Jinshui primary school

Jinshui primary school, located in front of Deyue building in Shuitou middle area of Jinmen, was built in 1927 by Huang's family after making money in Nanyang. It was borrowed by the government of Jinmen as a primary school in 1950. It was the largest school complex rarely seen in Jinmen at that time. In 1986, the school was closed due to lack of students, and then returned to Huang's family.

Jinshui primary school is a Western-style building with Arabic flavor. The architectural pattern is in the shape of back words. On the front of the building, there are exquisite sculptures and clay sculptures such as abalone, angel, plum blossom, peony, grape and Phoenix, which add lively color and folk beauty. The school retains the original appearance of the classroom in the past, with the independent space in the middle as the auditorium and the classrooms on both sides.
