The monument is made of white marble, standing in the green pines and cypresses, solemn and solemn. On the front, there are eight golden characters of "outstanding meritorious service and style of famous general" inscribed by Jiang Zemin, former general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the state and chairman of the Central Military Commission; on the back, there is an inscription of former Defense Minister General Chi Haotian: "deeply cherish the memory of the old chief Comrade Wang Ping, and General Wang Ping will live in our hearts forever.". There are more than 400 photos of General Wang Ping in various periods in the exhibition hall, reflecting the glorious course and great achievements of the general of the Republic.

The construction of Wangping general park started in early 2002 and was officially opened to tourists on October 1, 2002. In order to commemorate the 100th anniversary of General Wang Ping's birth, in 2007, our county invested more than 1 million yuan in the comprehensive renovation of General Wang Ping Memorial Park, including a new tourist toilet, more than 100 meters of footpath, more than 200 precious flowers and trees, 400 square meters of green belt, and all the pictures of the exhibition hall were updated.

Every year on Tomb Sweeping Day, the local Party committee, government and primary and secondary school students spontaneously visit the general Memorial Park to pay homage to the general of the Republic and deeply cherish his glorious life and great achievements. Now it is the national defense education base of Huangshi City and the foundation of youth patriotism education.
