They are developed in Maokou limestone and Qixia limestone in the lower Permian. Maokou limestone is pure in texture. It produces fusulinidae and brachiopod fossils, mainly gray and light gray. It inhabits a lot of chert nodules in nepheline limestone, and its shape is compared to "cow dung". The Shizi cave is mainly formed along a group of cross sections. The tensile structure spreads out toward the ground and converges toward the ground. The compressive structure is cut off by the nearly vertical fracture surface.
