Rhinoceros Pool

Rhinoceros Pool is located at the foot of Huangguoshu waterfall. The pool is covered with countless drops of water splashed by the waterfall. Green walls stand on both sides of the canyon, and various kinds of water loving plants are luxuriant. The water viewing hall, waterfall viewing Pavilion, teahouse, iron cable bridge, cable car and other buildings, as well as bamboo groves, together with the waterfall, constitute a three-dimensional landscape painting of nature.

When you go through the water curtain cave, you can see the rainbow on Rhinoceros Pool from the windows of each cave. The rainbow here is not only colorful, but also dynamic. As long as the weather is fine, you can see it from 9 am to 5 pm, and it changes and moves with your walking. Predecessors said: "the rainbow in the sky is set off by the sky, and the rainbow in rhinoceros pond is set off by the snow-white waterfall", so it is called "snow reflecting the clouds of Sichuan".

Folklore

According to the old people in the village, in ancient times, there was an immortal riding a rhinoceros who worked from west to East. It's very tiring to ride a rhinoceros after a long journey. After Chuang Village pool, the immortal saw the pool green, surrounded by trees, waterfalls flying down, beautiful scenery, not a taste. Thinking of hard riding, the immortal asked the rhinoceros to stop and rest. The rhinoceros sank slowly, and three of its feet fell on two different stones. As a result, the three rhinoceros footprints were deeply branded on the stones, with different depths ranging from 20 cm to 30 cm.
