Chongding Catholic Church

At the end of the 19th century, Ren Anshu, a French Catholic missionary, arrived at chawalong area of Chayu County in Tibet by way of Yanjing in Kangding, and then entered the Nujiang River. Chongding Church took ten years to complete in 1935. French structure: residential buildings on both sides, Chapel in the middle, and two bell towers. It was destroyed during the cultural revolution. In 1996, it was rebuilt on its original site, far smaller than the cathedral in the past.

Chongding Catholic Church

Chongding Catholic Church was founded in 1908, located in Bingzhongluo, Gongshan County, Yunnan Province. It took 10 years to complete and put into use in 1918. The construction time of this project is long, and it is the most splendid and spectacular building in Gongshan County.

Features of scenic spots

The pillars in the church are made of white marble. The church is built according to the structure of the church in Hong Kong. The whole church is square, with a large quadrangle and accommodation buildings on both sides. The center of the church is very tall, with a height of about 25 meters. The church can accommodate thousands of people. It was completed and put into use in 2007.
