Haiyang international sand sculpture art park is located in Wanmi beach bathing beach of Haiyang tourist resort. It is the largest sand sculpture art theme City Park in China and the only one in North China.

There are sand sculptures designed by artists from home and abroad in the park, with different shapes, some rough and unrestrained, some magnificent, but they all have a strong artistic shock. In the park forest area, you can also enjoy the rare original plant -- the black pine forest with an area of 800 mu.

In 2006, 2007 and 2008, three sessions of Haiyang international sand sculpture art festival were successfully held, which became famous at home and abroad and quickly became a new highlight of Haiyang tourism.

Haiyang international sand sculpture art park has more than 800 mu of black pine forest. This black pine forest was first planted in the 1950s. Due to the very difficult growth environment, it took decades of vicissitudes to form this lush and green forest on the golden coast. Although these pine trees are not as old and vigorous as Taishan pine, they are not as magical and proud as Huangshan pine. However, their noble qualities, such as not withering, not proud, condescending, not flattering when the sea breeze blows, not fearing when the cold current hits their bodies, not reducing the scorching sun and heat, and showing their pride and dignity in severe frost and rainstorm, are comparable to those of Taishan and Huangshan pines. Entering the forest area, the air is moist and fresh, and the rosin fills the lungs. You can enjoy the natural oxygen bar and enjoy the gift of nature. What's more amazing is the uncanny workmanship of nature, which makes every pine tree here have its own bearing and vigor: they stand tall and straight, or the branches stretch, or the twigs curl, or they are vigorous and powerful. There are many pines, such as those of a strong man, those of a couple, those of a boa constrictor, and those of an octopus. The rare original ecological forest of Pinus thunbergii and natural oxygen bar, with its unique charm that can not be copied, have become a beautiful landscape in the coastal area of the peninsula and the scenic area.

On August 19, 2006, the first China Haiyang international sand sculpture art festival was solemnly opened in the sand sculpture art park. With its huge scale of sculpture, strong visual impact and rough artistic shock, it has attracted more than 300000 tourists at home and abroad.

The second

In 2007, the second China Haiyang international sand sculpture art festival, with the theme of "innovation and harmonious development", takes the world wonders, China's splendid history and culture combined with the reform and development of Haiyang as the theme, closely follows the pulse of civilization and social development of the times, integrates the breath of life into the sand sculpture art works, and reproduces the historical stories, legends and brocade that people at all times and in all over the world love The scenery and development prospect of xiuhaiyang. The sand sculpture artists of this sand sculpture festival are from China, Canada, Australia, Japan, Slovenia, Bangladesh and other countries. There are 32 single sand sculptures in 7 groups. The highest part of the works is about 11 meters and the total amount of sand is about 15000 square meters. The exhibition area is about 1500 meters long, 40 meters wide and 60000 square meters. It is the largest sand sculpture group in the world. The sand sculpture art park was opened on June 28, and the second China Haiyang international sand sculpture art festival opened on July 28. So far, it has received nearly 300000 tourists. National, provincial and municipal leaders have visited, inspected and guided for many times, and have given high evaluation and affirmation respectively.

The third

In 2008, the works of the third sand sculpture festival were elaborately produced by sand sculpture artists from Russia, Bangladesh, Australia, Slovenia and Zhoushan of China. The theme of the festival is "Athens to Beijing, China's Olympic sentiment". The theme of the festival is China's splendid ancient sports culture and the Asian sand Games hosted by Haiyang City. The entire sand sculpture exhibition area has a total area of more than 20000 square meters, with a length of more than 500 meters from east to west and a width of about 50 meters. There are 40 kinds of sand sculpture works (groups), with a total amount of about 15000 square meters of sand. The highest point of the central work is 15 meters. "Auspicious clouds", "bird's nest" and other sand sculpture works with Olympic themes have become the biggest highlight of this sand sculpture festival.
