Duolun Lake

Duolun lake is located in the upper reaches of Luanhe River, Dahekou Township, Duolun County, Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Its main entrance is 16km away from Duolun County, belonging to artificial reservoir project. Its predecessor is xishanwan reservoir, the largest water conservancy project on Xilinguole grassland. It has a capacity of 110 million cubic meters and a water surface area of 13.5 square kilometers. It is 17 kilometers long on both sides of the East and the West. It is located in high mountains, sand and grassland. Along both sides of the reservoir area and the inner lake island, half island and sand Peninsula, it integrates mountains, water, sand, grass and forest, forming a magnificent and beautiful landscape Three dimensional picture scroll.

Introduction to lakes

The project was built in January 1998, and the dam was closed to store water in September 1999. The control basin covers an area of 8999 square kilometers, with an average annual runoff of 196 million cubic meters and an average annual flow of 5.29 cubic meters per second.
