Zilinshan National Forest Park

Zilinshan National Forest Park is located in the slope zone of the transition from the south of Miaoling in Guizhou Plateau to the hills in Guangxi, with a total area of 3529 hectares and a forest coverage rate of 92.57%.

The park has sanduyao Renshan National Forest Park in the East, Libo Zhangjiang scenic spot and Maolan Karst international man and biosphere network reserve in the west, 200 kilometers away from Guiyang, Liuzhou and other cities.

The park is rich in biological resources. The natural forest vegetation is mainly subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest, with coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest, Cyclobalanopsis glauca pure forest and tung oil tree pure forest distributed in patches. The trees are green and simple, and the four seasons are distinct. The plantations are mainly pure Pinus massoniana, Pinus armandii, Cupressus funebris and Phyllostachys praecox. They echo with the artificial fruit gardens such as nectarine garden, brown plum garden and Huanghua pear garden, forming forest landscapes with different seasons such as forest sea and flower sea. There are 418 species of plants in the park, including 27 species of Taxus chinensis, Ginkgo biloba, Taxus chinensis, Taiwania flousiana, and 99 species of animals, including 41 species of leopard, python, and macaque. More than 60 macaques in the park are vivid and lovely. Together with the birds and animals in the park, they add dynamic beauty to the forest.

Main attractions

Park landscape, hydrological landscape, astronomical landscape and forest landscape complement each other and complement each other, forming a beautiful and unique landscape. Towering mountains, precipitous strange peaks and rocks, mysterious karst caves, leaping mountain streams, level mountain forests and reservoirs, spectacular Guanyin Mountain waterfalls, plateau specific blue sky and white clouds, magnificent sunrise and sunset, as well as crystal clear snow and rime in winter, are all beautiful.

The park is rich in human landscape resources. The mysterious ancient road in the forest in the southwest of the park is paved with stones, which adds to the history of the scenic area. The 30 km long forest road forms 18 bends in the park, forming its own scenery. The culture and customs of Buyi, Shui, Miao and other ethnic minorities in the park are distinctive and colorful. "Dushan lantern", "Miao Lusheng", "Shui Diaojiaolou", "Dushan Maojian tea" and "Dushan hydrochloric acid" are well-known. Around the park are Kuiwen Pavilion, which was built in the 12th year of Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty, Shengou Anti Japanese Memorial board, and "Yingshan thatched cottage" by Mo Youzhi, a famous historical figure in the late Qing Dynasty.

Zilin Mountain National Forest Park is divided into two parks, namely, Shengou and cuiquan, and Zilin mountain natural scenic area, macaque reserve, as well as part of the grassland close to Zilin mountain natural scenic area. The park is divided into 10 scenic spots, including forest eco-tourism, Zilin mountain canyon, Shengou Canyon and alpine grassland, and 61 scenic spots, including Jiangjun stone, Guanyin stone and Guanyin waterfall.

Rocking stone: it is located on a steep cliff in Jiaxi village, Jiading Township. The rock is 4 meters long, 2.5 meters high, 1.5 meters wide and weighs about 100 tons. Visitors can make the stone swing left and right without any tools. Faced with the abyss, the rock shakes with fear, which is exciting and dangerous.

Fantian seal: it is located on a ridge in Jiading village, Jiading Township. Its shape is like an inverted seal. Fantianyin is famous for its unique shape. Its photos have been published in many pictorial newspapers and calendars.

Zilin mountain canyon: located in Jiading Township in the south of the park, the canyon is 3 km long, the widest part is more than 40 meters, and the narrowest part is only more than 10 meters. The gorge is green in forest and beautiful in water, brilliant in mountain and flower, singing of birds and dancing of butterflies, swift in stream, peculiar in geological landscape, natural in scenic spots and beautiful in natural scenery.

(1) Scenery of Zilin mountain

Zilin mountain is a primitive forest area with primitive simplicity, magic and beautiful scenery. It is located in the northeast of Dushan County, more than 20 kilometers away from the county, covering an area of 38 square kilometers, with a forest coverage rate of 90%. In the vast primeval forest, there are many rare plants, a total of more than 40 families, more than 500 species. Birds and wild animals come in and out frequently, including thrush, longevity bird, red billed Acacia and other ornamental birds, as well as giant salamander, macaque, black bear, civet, forest musk deer, gazelle, hairy crested deer, red bellied pheasant and other national protected animals. Here, Qifeng towering, valley vertical and horizontal, springs and waterfalls surging, clouds Dangwu, bamboo whirling, towering ancient trees. It not only has the picturesque beauty of Jiangnan mountains, but also has the majestic beauty of Saibei mountains. Spring is prosperous, summer is full of trees, autumn is full of flowers and fruits, winter is full of snow, the scenery is endless. Here is the plant kingdom, animal world, exotic flowers and plants fill the valley, rare animals inhabit the forest, forming a charming natural labyrinth. It is a good place for forest tourism, adventure tourism and leisure tourism. The representative scenic spots are fantianyin, jiangjunyan, jiaxianyan waterfall, Diebao, yixiantian, etc.

(2) Cuiquan Forest Park

Cuiquan Forest Park is within the planning scope of Zilin Mountain National Forest Park, which is a scenic spot in the southwest of Zilin Mountain National Forest Park. It was built in 2001. The center is 4km away from the county seat, with a total area of 15000 mu, an average altitude of 1050-1200m, an average annual temperature of 15 ℃, a north-south length of 6.5km, a East-West width of 4.5km, and a forest coverage rate of 80%. There are 118 species of plants, 93 genera, 56 families, and 44 species of wild animals, 29 families, 16 orders, 4 classes. The grassland in the forest is full of vitality, there are many valuable flowers and trees, the spring is rich and pure, the lakes and mountains are full of poetic flavor, so it's better to cultivate it naturally here. The park is dominated by artificial forest landscape and natural lawn with abundant livelihood. There are Conference Center, open-air swimming pool, barbecue City, natural karst cave, leisure corridor and other facilities, as well as ethnic minority horse riding, archery, ethnic song and dance performances, which are good places for leisure tourism and experience ethnic customs.

Tourism information

Dushan County, known as the South Gate of Guizhou, is the transportation hub of Guizhou and southwest China. The main traffic trunk roads are Qiangui highway and guigaogao highway, which run through the north and south, and cesan highway runs through the West and East. The county has 145 kilometers of Railways and 320 kilometers of highways. The southwest part of the park is 4km away from the county seat, and an asphalt road has been built. The northern part of the park is 35 kilometers away from the county seat. The tuweng Tongxiang highway passing through the area has been connected to the Guizhou Guangxi highway, and the railway has also built a railway station in Tuchang town. The county is 90km away from Libo airport and 158km away from Longdongbao International Airport.
