Paiya mountain

Paiya mountain is a rare pure land and the best place for deep exploration. 97 big and small mountain peaks are arranged like teeth, full of towering trees in the forest, ancient trees are like fairyland. Red, yellow, green and white rhododendrons adorn the city in early spring, and green and enchanting in summer. This is the first stop of the "cycling race around Hunan" in 2014. Imagine how pleasant it is to drag racing through the green forest.

The best time is in late autumn and early winter, when you can enjoy the red leaves in the water, just like the red world. Walking in the jungle path, you can't stop the "click" sound in your hands, killing countless films in an instant. Scenic spots in the mountains: Zen Lin Chaohui, Wenta Shuxiang, Wangjiang Yuwan, Pailin Yunhai, Qili Shengge, Meishan Yinghong Countless customs, waiting for you to find.

Paiya mountain

Paiya mountain, located in Dapeng Town, Longgang District, Shenzhen City, is the main mountain range of the North Island of Dapeng Peninsula, with an altitude of 707 meters (the sixth peak in Shenzhen). The mountain is surrounded by the sea on three sides, with rugged rocks and excellent scenery. Looking from the south, it looks like rows of teeth. It's not known whether it got its name.

"The mountain is not high. If there are immortals, there will be spirits." Paiya mountain is located in Nan'ao peninsula. Although there is no fairy, its scenery is just like a fairyland. Paiya mountain, 707 meters above sea level, is the sixth highest peak in Shenzhen. Paiya mountain is surrounded by the sea on three sides. The scenery along the way is beautiful. From the mountain, you can see that the sea and sky are the same. The rocks on the mountain are rugged and the scenery is excellent. Here you can climb a mountain and feel the stimulation of a line of Sky Road on the 100 meter cliff. You can also go for a hike and watch the mountain flowers everywhere. Due to the erosion of the rocks by the sea breeze over the years, Paiya mountain has created a dangerous cliff landform like teeth. Generally, it takes about six hours to complete the whole journey through Paiya mountain, which belongs to the climbing enthusiasts' fever level crossing route, and the difficulty belongs to the upper middle level.

The nature reserve in Shenzhen is only a National Nature Reserve, Neilingding Island Nature Reserve, which was established in 1984. It mainly protects "macaques, birds and mangroves", and its type is "marine coast". Paiyashan Nature Reserve belongs to the type of forest ecosystem and mangrove ecosystem. The main protected objects are primary evergreen broad-leaved forest, mangrove forest, rare and endangered animals and plants in south subtropical zone.

There are 1 species of extremely dangerous plants (Aristolochia Hong Kong), 13 species of endangered plants and 35 species of vulnerable plants in Paiya mountain. There are 41 kinds of national key protected animals, including 2 kinds of national first-class key protected animals, 25 kinds of second-class protected animals and 14 kinds of provincial protected animals.

Mountaineering route

The starting point of the traditional climbing route is baguang village, Dapeng Town, where the traffic is inconvenient. It is very convenient to get there by car. The car continues eastward through baguang village, successively passes bagangtan and Yangtong (Haiyan restaurant road sign), and the reservoir dam (Zao salt water reservoir) is on the right side, about 3km away from baguang village. Cheshun Dam Road North, about 10 minutes drive to the southern end of the reservoir Zaoyan forest farm. In the forest farm, a two-story building can be seen, half hidden in the forest. You can go up the mountain from the path on the right side of the building. Due to the undeveloped Paiya mountain, there are jagged rocks, overgrown weeds, and only a 50 cm wide path twists and turns.

The initial section is an orchard, with litchi and orange trees as the majority. The path leads straight to the saddle in front, which is very obvious. Continue to climb southward, pay attention to easy to get lost in the valley area, if you encounter fork road winding to the bottom of the valley, do not follow, there are many animal traps at the bottom of the valley, do not be careless! You should choose an upward main road. About an hour later, you can reach Anbu (about 300 meters above sea level), and suddenly you will have a panoramic view of the Dakeng reservoir and Daya Bay nuclear power station. After arriving at Anbu, turn to the East, walk along the fire belt path of the ridge to the northeast, cross two small hills (300-360 meters above sea level), and reach the western section of Paiya. There is a cliff which is difficult to climb at about 550 meters above sea level. It is dangerous to climb on the left side of the cliff, especially to avoid falling rocks and sliding. Climbing from the top of the cliff to tens of meters can reach the top of the Western ridge (about 600 meters above sea level). The time from the saddle to the top of the Western ridge depends on the number of personnel and experience, ranging from 1 to 2 hours.

After the trip are in the "teeth" on the vertical, from west to East. It should be specially reminded that there are many cliffs on the way to the peak, so we need to be very careful. We have boundless scenery along the way, but we should pay attention to the safety of the mountain. About 1-1.5 hours to reach the peak. There is no special sign of the peak. It's the top of a grassy hill. It's usually here for lunch. Looking around, Paiya mountain is surrounded by Daya Bay on three sides, Aotou port in the north, and Qiniang mountain across the sea in the south!

The way down the mountain can be from hebeikeng in the north, from Xigu to longweizi reservoir. However, we only went through this route once (in 1999), and still went through the open road (in the valley, lily of the valley stepped on the boar clip), so we don't recommend it. The traditional downhill route is to the south. The path along the ridge leads directly to the Dakeng reservoir. The downhill time is about 2-3 hours. The main landmarks on the way down the mountain are: air defense trench (about 500 meters above sea level to 300 meters), boiling water rock (an open rock, very flat). Kaishuiyan goes further south, crosses one of the catchment streams of the Dakeng reservoir, and chooses a hidden path in the middle of the hillside to reach the dam of the Dakeng reservoir. Pick up the vehicle at the dam, or take a small four-wheel, motorcycle to Dapeng.

According to the introduction, paiyashan nature reserve is divided into four functional areas: core area, buffer area, experimental area and nature reserve area (see the attached figure of Shenzhen business daily). Among them, the core area is 38.71 square kilometers, accounting for 37.35% of the total area, the buffer area is 38.58 square kilometers, accounting for 37.22% of the total area, the experimental area is 16.32 square kilometers, accounting for 15.74% of the total area, and the other three nature reserves account for about 9.69%.

The core area is located on the north slope of the main peak of Paiya mountain at an altitude of more than 200m and the south slope at an altitude of more than 350m, near the main peak of qiushuiling in the southwest and near the main peak of huoshaotian in the northwest. As there is no human destruction, the natural vegetation here is well preserved, and there are many rare and endangered protected animals and plants. The core area is planned to be closed and protected, and no unit or individual is allowed to enter. Those who have to enter the core area to engage in scientific research, observation and investigation activities must be approved by the relevant provincial administrative department of nature reserves.

The buffer zone is located outside the core area, including mountains, low mountains and valleys on the southern slope of Paiya mountain with an altitude of 50-350m, surrounding areas of Dakeng reservoir, Luowutian reservoir, Jingxin reservoir, shuimokeng reservoir and Damali reservoir, and low mountain areas of qiushuiling, Hemuling and huoshaotian. The north and South core areas of the reserve are connected by buffer zones, which provide a safe channel for the migration of wildlife in the core area. In the buffer zone, only scientific research activities are allowed, and tourism, production and business activities are prohibited. This can not only effectively protect the core area from interference, but also protect the vegetation development of the buffer zone.

The experimental area is located in the periphery of the buffer zone, including the slope below 200-300m of the northern slope of Paiya mountain, the piedmont of qiushuiling, Hemuling and huoshaotian, and the surrounding areas of yanzao reservoir, baguang village, GAODA village and dapengsuo city. These areas can enter to engage in scientific experiments, teaching practice, visit and investigation, tourism, domestication and breeding of rare and endangered wild animals and plants.

As the mangrove forests in baguang, Xichong and Dongyong are relatively scattered and inhabited by people, they are designated as nature reserves in the planning. Logging, hunting, medicine collecting and other activities that damage natural resources and natural landscape are prohibited in the area, but ecotourism activities can be carried out.
