Wengniute Banner Geopark

Wengniute Banner is located in the middle of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, between 42 ° 26 ′ - 43 ° 25 ′ N and 117 ° 49 ′ - 120 ° 43 ′ E. It is adjacent to Aohan banner and Songshan District of Chifeng City in the south, Keshiketeng Banner in the west, Linxi County, Balinyouqi, aruhorqin banner and Kailu County of Tongliao City in the north, and Naiman Banner of Tongliao City in the East. With a total area of 11872 square kilometers, "Wengniute" in Mongolian means "kings, sacred". Wengniute Banner has a long history and long culture. It is one of the birthplaces of Hongshan, Qidan and Liao culture.
