Gudou Mountain is located in the southwest of Jiangmen City and in the southwest of Xinhui. It is the boundary mountain between Xinhui and Taishan. It is close to the South China Sea and the throat of the exit of Yamen. It stretches for hundreds of miles, winding and undulating, with emerald peaks, jagged rocks, clouds and fog, full of magical color.

The ecological environment of Gudou Mountain is complex and the forest resources are rich. According to the investigation of South China Agricultural University, there are 948 species of wild vascular plants belonging to 499 genera and 161 families in the broad-leaved forest area of Gudou Mountain. There are rare species, such as elaeagaceae Bauhinia and other first-class wood. They belong to the second-class national protected plants. There are rare Sui Huashan, Hainan Shizi and so on. In the past, because of the precipitous mountain, it was a hiding place for thieves for a long time. The bandit leader "Da Tian Er" who runs rampant in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao often lives here, and the female bandit head "Shan Yan Ying" who does harm to Siyi also lives in Gudou Mountain for a long time. They plundered families and houses, sealed the sea and cut off ships, ransacked villages and towns, extorted people, killed people, had their livers cut open, drank wine and had fun, and committed all kinds of crimes. Up to now, there are still some historical evidences of the crimes of the bandits.

So at that time, it was called "the Pearl of the ancient bag". In the 1980s, Gudoushan natural mineral water was used to build a mineral water plant. Now, a holiday resort has been set up in Gudou Mountain, with swimming grounds, barbecue grounds, hot spring baths, Gudou Resort Hotel, etc., attracting many tourists. This pearl is more dazzling. ?
