Shaman culture museum is located in China's Daur Ethnic Park, 9km away from Nierji Town, the seat of the government of Molidawa Daur Autonomous Banner in Hulunbuir city. It is the largest Shaman culture museum in China. With an investment of more than 12 million yuan, the project was officially started in August 2005 and completed in June 2007 after more than a year's construction. The total height of the Shaman culture museum is 26.5 meters, of which the height of the shaman bronze statue is 21 meters and the building area of the exhibition hall is 740 square meters.

Religious culture

Shaman culture is the core of Shaman religious rituals, the core of ancient civilization in the Arctic Circle, and the earliest and longest lasting original ecological culture in history. Shaman belief is a primitive polytheism based on the belief of animism, with the sacrifice of various gods as its content and a certain sacrificial activity as its manifestation.

Shaman is not only the intermediary between man and God, but also the spiritual and cultural representative of the clan. As a collection of ancient culture, Shaman culture almost includes the cultural achievements of Northern Human in religion, history, economy, philosophy, medicine, marriage system, moral standards, literature, art, sports, folk customs and so on. Its representative contents include shaman songs, Shaman Dance, shaman medicine and Shaman Plastic Arts (including painting, paper cutting, embroidery, wood painting, sculpture, mask, costume, hat, drum, totem pole, puppet, etc.).

The museum has 26 shaman costumes and more than 300 shaman puppets, drums, pictures, text materials, etc., and fully tells people about the ancient civilization of mankind with rich exhibits, vivid text descriptions, and a large number of pictures.
