Jiulonggou scenic spot is located in Sanlang Town, Chongzhou City, covering an area of more than 170 square kilometers and 76 kilometers away from Chengdu City. Jiulonggou is known as the "Dragon Palace in the world". Jiulonggou scenic spot is located in the northwest of Chongzhou City, 38 kilometers away from Chongzhou city and 76 kilometers away from Chengdu City. The scenic area is mainly composed of three parts: jiulonggou water stone landscape, Daxishan primeval forest landscape and ancient temple, among which jiulonggou dynamic water stone landscape is the most attractive. Jiulonggou is located in the fault zone in front of the mouth of Longmen Mountain, with great height difference. The area has luxuriant trees and lush flowers and plants. Dading mountain at the top of jiulonggou is 2600 meters above sea level. From here, you can see countless green peaks and snow mountains, such as undulating waves, sea of clouds, sunrise, Buddha light and other meteorological landscapes. The grand ancient temple is hidden in the dense forest of the ancient Temple scenic area. It is a well preserved and large-scale ancient temple in the mountain forest of Chengdu.

Jiulonggou is located in the Qianshan fault zone in the southern section of Longmen Mountains. The geological structure is complex. The mountains fluctuate from 700m to 3868m above sea level, and the cliffs are steep. The area is characterized by luxuriant trees, lush flowers and plants, good ecological environment, and simple and delicate dynamic landscape of jiulonggou. There are fossil rock, Pearl Spring Dragon Rock, Longnu Huansha pool, Longyan stone, Diamond Peak, xiangshuigou, Jiulong waterfall and other landscapes. Giant panda, golden monkey, gazelle and other rare animals live in the primeval forest belt of Daxishan. The vast forest is full of strong wild interest.

Liuding mountain, the main peak of jiulonggou, is a gathering place of dragons. At an altitude of 2686 meters, you can see the sea of clouds, sunrise, moonlight, Buddha light and other magnificent sceneries. You can also see the Yin and Yang wonders of the Banpo, the Banpo, the Banpo, the Yushu and the Qionghua. On a sunny day, you can have a panoramic view of the Chengdu Plain from the summit. The new cableway starts from the Shenlong Pavilion at a height of 700 meters from the gate of the scenic spot and goes directly to Liuding mountain, with a total length of 2000 meters and a vertical height of about 1000 meters. The new mountain road will change the existing route. There are two different ways to go up and down the mountain. In this way, you can enjoy different scenery on the way up and down the mountain. This mountain road is like a giant dragon, with a total length of about 12 km.

Main attractions

Jiulonggou scenic spot is located at the foot of Qianshan Mountain, 35 kilometers southwest of Shahe City, Xingtai. It is a valley type landscape where nature and humanity complement each other. The main scenic spots are: Jiulong temple, Jiulong pool, Houlong pool, Diaoshi cliff, Huqiu mountain, Taohua temple, Jiulong lake, etc. In 1992, it was approved as a provincial scenic spot by the people's Government of Hebei Province. The scenic area is about 21 square kilometers. There are nine mountain ridges around the scenic spot, which are like nine giant dragons circling and extending the gully mouth, so it is named "jiulonggou". Jiulong temple is built at the bottom of Jiulong ditch, which is as narrow as a line. There are Danya ancient cypresses on the top and nine Longtan streams on the bottom. Chen Hong, a famous poet of the Ming Dynasty, praised: "although the two walls are divided and suspicious, they seem to be closed and open for a long time." The emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties, Zhangde, Shunde, Guangping and other prefectures and counties had prayed for rain and offered gold seals for repair. Today, there is still a plaque on the "protector of the state" given by the emperor in the third year of Chenghua of the Ming Dynasty. Jiulonggou, with its beautiful scenery and moving legends, is known as a great spectacle in Southern Hebei Province. It is a good place for sightseeing, leisure and vacation, and visiting ancient times.

Passenger car

1. Chengdu North passenger transport center and chadianzi station have direct trains, and the ticket price is about 15 yuan. They leave Chengdu from 8:00 to 13:00 every day;

2. Chengdu to Chongzhou, the ticket price is about 7.5 yuan, and then transfer to jiulonggou bus, the ticket price is about 5.5 yuan. The whole journey takes about 1.5 hours.

Self driving

Starting from Chengdu, you can go up to Chengdu wenqiong expressway, get off at Chongzhou station, and then pass the Huaiyuan West Sichuan Tourism Ring Road. You can see the signs along the road to reach jiulonggou.
