Linyi radio and television tower is located at the south end of Beicheng New District, Lanshan District, Linyi City, Shandong Province. It is located at the intersection of Yihe River, Yihe River and Liuqing river. It is a steel TV Tower with multi-functional services such as broadcasting, TV transmitting, sightseeing, catering and exhibition services.

Linyi tower is 326 meters high, with a total construction area of 10992 square meters, covering an area of 7.73 hectares. There are five floors in the tower. The structural system of the tower body is composed of super large diameter steel tube shaft, three "Y" shaped trusses and space spiral trusses.

Linyi tower is the tallest tower in a prefecture level city in China, the ninth tower in China, the twentieth tower in the world, and Linyi tower is the first building in the world to adopt high-strength bolt flange connection technology. It is also the first building to install point glass curtain wall in China.

Design build

Linyi radio and television tower is designed by Ma renle, Architectural Design Institute of Tongji University. The main construction of steel structure is undertaken by Qingdao Oriental iron tower company. There are more than 20 construction and engineering supervision units for other civil engineering, interior and exterior decoration and night lighting projects.

Tower height

The total height of the tower is 303 meters, implying that Wang Xizhi was born in 303 ad. In the process of construction, it was raised to 326 meters, ranking ninth in China.

Tower structure

Linyi radio and TV Tower is composed of antenna mast, tower, tower body, truss and tower base. The mast of the antenna tower is 98 meters high, and the tower is 200-228 meters, with a building area of 1650 square meters It has seven floors, including one for temporary refuge, two for indoor sightseeing, three for revolving restaurant, four for launching machine room, five for open sightseeing platform, six and seven for equipment; the tower body is 8.5m diameter steel tube cylinder, with three elevators and one fire staircase; the tower base has five floors, with a construction area of 6200 square meters Among them, the first to third floors are for business use, the fourth and fifth floors are for management use, and the first floor (basement) of the tower base is the equipment floor with fire pool.

The tower tube is in the shape of brush rod, and the tower tower is in the shape of brush tip, implying that Linyi is the hometown of Wang Xizhi, the great calligrapher of the Han Dynasty; a group of single-sided trusses are set under the tower body, and two arcs are used to outline the "Taiji map", implying that Linyi is the hometown of Zhuge Liang, the "wise sage"; the tower base is like stretched bamboo slips, implying that Linyi is the excavation site of Sun Zi's art of war and Sun Bin's art of war; the steel tube truss of the tower is similar in shape The giant dragon takes off, echoing with the Phoenix sculpture in the Phoenix Square opposite, which shows the auspiciousness of dragon and Phoenix. For example, Linyi launch tower adopts high-strength bolt flange connection in vertical and horizontal direction, which is the first in the world; the spherical grid structure of the tower adopts point glass curtain wall, which is the first in China.
