San Yang Feng

Sanyang peak, 717.7 meters above sea level, is the highest peak in the core scenic area of Wuyishan Mountain in Fujian Province (excluding autothermal reserve). Three Yang peak are head east, high for big Yang, followed by middle Yang, followed by small Yang, so named three Yang peak.

San Yang Feng

Sanyang peak is the highest peak in Wuyishan City, Fujian Province, with an altitude of 717.7 meters. The three Yang peaks all hold their heads to the East, the high one is big Yang, the second one is middle Yang, and the second one is small yang. Looking up at the three peaks, it's like three pieces of huge stones, obliquely inserted into the blue sky, with banners and horses flying in the air, which is very magnificent.

There are many scenic spots on Sanyang peak. In the half wall of xiaoyangfeng, there is a cave four or five feet deep, two or three feet high, named "Bixiao cave." There are five characters of "the highest Wuyi" written by Lin Pei in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty.

There is a well beside the cave, which is said to be the Danjing of song Baiyu Chan. In the Qing Dynasty, Zhou Shifang, a Kuaiji official, once practiced here. At the waist of dayangfeng, there is a flat and square boulder named Qipanshi. It is said that there were immortals playing chess here in the past.

Sanyang peak is surrounded by ancient trees and dense leaves. Even in the midsummer season, it takes only a moment for us to come here sweating like rain, and the heat will disappear. Not far from here, sanyintai has jicuilou nunnery, Zhibai nunnery and Yangyun nunnery, and luoan nunnery at the foot of the platform, all of which are now abandoned. There is a large stone inscription "the highest place in Wuyi". The scenery along Sanyang peak is charming and winding. The Management Committee of the scenic spot is organizing forces to rebuild the way of mountaineering. Additional kiosks will be built for visitors to have a rest.
