Songzanganbu's birthplace: in Mozhugongka County, it is located at the edge of a village beside National Highway 318, named qiangbaminjiulin. He was born in Jiama township. Jiama means one in a hundred rich places. In ancient times, it was a holy land surrounded by mountains and abundant water and grass. It is said that when Songzanganbu's father was in power, there was qiangbamin residence here, and Songzanganbu was born in this palace.

Today, the legendary palace no longer exists. Later generations built a archway in front of the original site to mark its special status. It is well known that Songzanganbu established the Tubo Dynasty. During his reign, he promoted Buddhism, created characters, unified the system of weights and measures, and married with the Tang Dynasty and Nepal respectively. In 641 ad, in order to welcome Princess Wencheng into Tibet, Songzanganbu built the Potala Palace on the red mountain of Lhasa. He is a well-known national hero in Tibet. Like Buddha and eminent monk, he has been consecrated to the Tibetan people for generations.
