Star picking platform is a ramming platform. The lower level is Longshan culture, and the upper level is Yin Shang culture. According to the records of Qi County, the star picking platform was built by King Zhou, which means that when you climb on it, you can pick up the stars and range the moon, which means the height of the platform. It was the place where King Zhou and his favorite concubine Daji were concerned about the court and the God of the state. Since King Zhou picked up the national God Bigan's heart here, people called this platform the heart picking platform to commemorate the national God Bigan.

At the end of the Shang Dynasty more than 2000 years ago, King Zhou built a very high tower for Su Daji in order to please her. Because it was very high, standing on it, it seemed to be able to get the stars in the sky, so it was named Jiexing tower. Later, King Zhou was bewitched by Su Daji and took off Bigan's heart in the star picking tower, so a generation of Zhongliang was killed. Later, people changed the name of jiexinglou to jiexinlou. After more than two thousand years, the high-rise building was damaged, and the foundation made of rammed earth was left with only one earth platform. Therefore, people now call the foundation of the star picking building the star picking platform.

In order to further improve the grade and taste of scenic spots, since 2010, according to the quality rating standards of scenic spots, jiexingtai scenic spot has vigorously carried out the activity of creating a national 3A level scenic spot, invested more than 3 million yuan in special funds, built a new tourist center, circular footpath, upgraded Sanren temple and linjiantai, and added Chaoge idiom garden, Chaoge Poetry Garden, Zhongjian square and other construction projects More than 10 projects and cultural attractions have been set up to make the cultural heritage of the scenic spots more profound, and the tourism grade and taste have been greatly improved. The upgraded star picking platform is more perfect in service function, more complete in supporting facilities, more standardized in scenic area management, and more beautiful in park environment. It has become another beautiful scenic spot in Hebi City. Qixian jiexingtai scenic spot, with its rich cultural relics and profound cultural heritage, has been declared as a national 3A scenic spot by Henan tourism scenic spot quality rating committee.
