Baishi mountain is located in the eastern suburb of Bengbu, seven li away from the South Bank of Huaihe River. The mountain is three li long from east to west, with two peaks facing each other, and the West Peak is slightly higher. Because there is a Linglong tower on the West peak of the mountain, which is shaped like a sharp cone, it is also known as "cone mountain". The white granite produced in Baishishan, which is jade in color and steel in quality, was mined as early as the Ming Dynasty. The White Pagoda at Beiwan of fantuanjhou (now changhuaiwei) was built from the stone of this mountain.
