Zalainor Museum

In July 2010, based on the profound cultural heritage and colorful cultural characteristics, the zhalainor district Party committee and government launched the construction project of zhalainor District Museum in the new urban area in order to fully display the history and culture of zhalainor, Hulun Lake Ecological Wetland and the mining history of zhalainor coal mine. It was officially opened to the outside world on December 24, 2012. The Museum covers an area of 24804 square meters, with a total construction area of 8320.5 square meters. It is divided into two floors above ground, one underground and two local, with a height of 17.8 meters. The design inspiration of the museum building comes from the stone core of the Neolithic age. The overall shape is beautiful, the lines are smooth, and the historical culture and modern design concepts are perfectly integrated. The museum is divided into three series of exhibition halls, namely, ZALAINUOER historical and cultural hall, Hulun Lake Ecological Wetland hall and ZALAINUOER coal hall. There are more than 430 exhibits, 230 specimens and 100 photos on display.

Zalainor Museum

ZALAINUOER museum is located in ZALAINUOER New District, Hulunbuir City, adjacent to national highway 301 in the south. It is a leisure and entertainment center with the theme of displaying regional history, culture and natural resources. It is also the largest museum in Hulunbuir and another concentrated exhibition place of Mongolian Yuan culture in Hulunbuir.

The Museum covers an area of 24804 square meters, with a total construction area of 8320.5 square meters. The museum is located on the same central axis with the party and government office building, Pegasus square and mammoth Park, which has become one of the landmark buildings in the new urban area.

The overall shape of ZALAINUOER museum is beautiful with smooth lines, and its design inspiration comes from the stone core of Neolithic age. The museum is divided into two floors above ground and one floor underground (some of which are two floors), with a height of 17.8 meters.

The museum is divided into three exhibition halls, namely, ZALAINUOER historical and cultural hall, Hulun Lake Ecological Wetland hall and ZALAINUOER coal hall, and temporary exhibition halls can be set up according to needs.

Zarainor historical and Cultural Hall

Based on the evolution of natural environment in Hulun Lake Basin and the relationship between human development history and nature, zhalainor historical and cultural hall takes the dawn of ancient civilization, the historical footprints of Tuoba Xianbei and the historical backyard of northern Qiang as its themes. It shows the splendid ancient culture of zalainor from point to area. The main exhibits in the exhibition hall include mammoth skeleton specimens, skull fossils of northeast bison, horse shaped gold ornaments unearthed from Xianbei tombs, and double bird cross neck copper ornaments. The exhibition hall covers an area of 1017 square meters.

Hulun Lake Ecological Wetland Hall

Hulun Lake Ecological Wetland hall focuses on the formation, beauty, life, culture, efficacy and sustainable utilization of Hulun Lake. The exhibition space of 1012 square meters is used to display a large number of pictures and specimens of animals, plants and fish collected in the region. This paper introduces the knowledge of Hulun Lake's natural ecology, the relationship between Hulun Lake and ancient grassland nationalities, and the relationship between Hulun Lake and our real life. Let the audience know, pay attention to and attach importance to Hulun Lake, and stimulate the audience's love for Hulun Lake.

Coal department of ZALAINUOER

The coal office of zalainuor is divided into three levels to comprehensively show the prosperity, vicissitudes and arduous course of nearly 100 years of coal industry in zalainuor. The two floors above the ground show coal science popularization, geological changes of ZALAINUOER coalfield, coal mining history, mining technology, etc.; the underground floor will be built into the largest simulated mine in China. The main exhibits in the exhibition hall include coal mining tools and mining machinery, daily necessities for miners, etc. The total area of the exhibition hall is 1549 square meters. The coal exhibition hall fills the blank of Hulunbuir regional theme museum, and also becomes the collection center of historical relics, specimens and documents of Hulunbuir coal industry.

Collection

There are fossils of antique mammoths in the museum.
