Kingkey 100 tower, located in Caiwuwei financial and cultural center, Luohu District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, is located at the southernmost end of Jingji 100 (Jingji financial center). It is the core building of Jingji 100 and a landmark building integrating conference, office and hotel

With a total construction area of about 220000 square meters, Jingji 100 building is composed of 175000 square meters of office buildings and 46000 square meters of hotels, with a total height of 441.8 meters. It has 100 floors above the ground and 4 floors below the ground

.

When Jingji 100 building was completed, it was the tallest building in Shenzhen, the third tallest building in mainland China and the eighth tallest building in the world

In 2012, Jingji 100 building was selected as the "Ambrose skyscraper Award"; in 2013, it was awarded the "LEED gold certification" by the US Green Building Council

History of construction

In 2006, the construction plan of Jingji 100 building was approved by the planning department.

In May 2007, the architectural design of Jingji 100 building was completed.

In December 2007, the construction of Jingji 100 building officially started

On August 23, 2010, the core wall concrete pouring of the 74th floor of Jingji 100 building under construction was successfully completed, reaching 326.75m in height, surpassing Diwang building and becoming the tallest building in Shenzhen

On November 12, 2010, it was officially named Jingji 100 building

On April 23, 2011, the main concrete structure of Jingji 100 building was officially capped

Jingji 100 building, with a total construction area of about 220000 square meters, is composed of 175000 square meters of office buildings and 46000 square meters of hotels, with a total height of 441.8 meters. It has 100 floors above the ground and 4 floors below the ground, including 1-4 floors of five-star hotel lobby, 5 floors of International Conference Center, 6-72 floors of office buildings (including 7 floors of trading floors specially designed for the securities industry, with a height of 5 meters), and a standard floor area of 2400-2 square meters 700 square meters, standard floor height of 4.2 meters, 75-100 floors for five-star hotel

Foundation pit

The maximum thickness of the foundation pit floor of Jingji 100 building is 4.5m, and the foundation pit floor is generally placed on the completely and strongly weathered rock; the pile foundation adopts the super large diameter manual digging pile with a diameter of 5.6m, and the bearing stratum at the pile end is slightly weathered granite

Jingji 100 building adopts triple structure system, which is composed of reinforced concrete core tube, mega steel diagonal braced frame, outrigger truss and waist truss which constitute the interaction between core tube and mega CFST column; internal steel is set in cast-in-place reinforced concrete core tube; Mega diagonal bracings are set in the East and West facades, in the form of cross; five waist trusses are evenly distributed along the height of the tower, with 3 waist trusses The area outrigger truss runs through the core tube

Jingji 100 building adopts the integrated design of super large glass dome, conjoined hyperbolic awning and glass curtain wall. The north and south facades are continuous glass curtain walls, the top is arc connection, and the East and west sides are equipped with horizontal metal sunshades

 

The external decorative glass curtain wall covers an area of nearly 120000 square meters, and the total project cost is nearly 170 million yuan. The unit glass curtain wall and double silver Low-E insulating glass are adopted

Sightseeing function

The hotel lobby on the 94th floor of Jingji 100 building is a 40 meter high air hall covered with glass, overlooking the panoramic view of Luohu District, Futian District, litchi Park and Hong Kong. On it is a goose egg shaped restaurant

Architectural features

Jingji 100 building is named for its 100 floors, which is designed by TFP Farrells and Arup engineering consulting company
