Kangding River

The tributary of Dadu River, also known as gasgou, is named after it flows through Kangding city. The upper reaches of the mingyala river flow southeast through Zhonggu, Wangmu, Yala and other villages and towns, to the lower reaches of the nazheduo River in Kangding County, and then to the East through shenghang, ridi, and gas, and to Lengzhuguan to join the Dadu River. The river water is supplied by the mixture of precipitation, groundwater and melting water of ice and snow. The river has large slope, rapid flow and abundant hydraulic resources.

Kangding River

Kangding River, also known as wasigou, is a tributary of Dadu River. Because it flows through Kangding City, it is named. Located in the west of Sichuan Province, northeast of Kangding County, the east slope of zhedo mountain.

Formation and change

It originates from the south foot of Dabaoshan mountain at the junction of Kangding County and Danba County, north of yariacuo on the east side of Haizi, at an altitude of 4800 meters. The upper reaches of the river are named Yala river. It flows southeast through Zhonggu, Wangmu, Yala and other villages and towns, and reaches the lower reaches of nazheduo River in Kangding County. It is called Kangding river. It flows eastward through shenghang, ridi and Gasi, and joins Dadu River at Lengzhuguan.

It has a total length of 78 kilometers and a drainage area of 1530 square kilometers. The average annual discharge of the estuary is 45.3 m3 / s. The river water is supplied by the combination of precipitation, groundwater and ice snow melt water. There are Erdaoqiao, niuwogou, hot water pond, dagai and other hot springs along the Yala River above Kangding (the temperature of niuwogou spring is about 90 ℃). There are many peaks on the right bank of Yala river. In the northeast, there is mugeco, also known as changhaizi, with an altitude of 3 780 meters and an area of 2 square kilometers. The lake water flows into Yala River from niuwogou to Wangmu village. The water level of the estuary is 1 384 meters above sea level, the drop of the whole river is 3 416 meters, and the average gradient is 43.8 ‰. Large slope, rapid flow, rich hydraulic resources, reserves of about 582000 kilowatts, downstream Kangding reach of 475800 kilowatts, built medium-sized hydropower station.
