Yajiageng (hongshitan)

Yajiageng is located between laoyulin in Kangding and Moxi town in Hailuogou. Hongshitan in the two estuaries of yajiageng is one of the largest hongshitan in the world, and is the best place to visit hongshitan around Hailuogou (Yanzigou also has hongshitan).

On the way from Moxi town to Kangding, there are many red stones along the way. The biggest red stone beach is on the side of Banshan road. You can enjoy it without tickets. The red stone here has a wide area and bright red color. It stretches along the valley and is magnificent. Every stone on the glacier bank is covered with a red coat. Red stones are piled up on both sides of the river. Groups of red stones turn into a kind of flowing red, accompanied by clear water. If you go from October to November, there are red leaves all over the mountain along the way, which is beautiful.

The best place to shoot here is in the red stone forest where Sun Li and Deng Chao stand in the painting wall. Standing in it, you can feel the magic of nature. The best viewing time is at noon, with high visibility. You can also watch the sunset at the hongshitan viewing platform, with rows of snow mountains on the top, five color forest sea in the middle, and a piece of hongshitan on the bottom, which is very spectacular.

Traffic information: at present, there is no public transportation mode from Hailuogou to hongshitan, so you can only choose self driving or charter car; it costs 150-200 yuan to charter car from Moxi, and 40 yuan / person by car from Luding (20 yuan / person from Moxi Luding, 20 yuan / person from Luding Kangding)
