Guishuihe Forest Park, one of the 11 Riverside Forest Parks in Beijing, is the largest park ever built in Yanqing County. It integrates ecological conservation, tourism, vacation and leisure. It is another landmark achievement of Yanqing in building a "green Beijing demonstration area" and a livable new city.

Development history

Guihe Forest Park started construction in April 2009 and is planned to be completed by the end of 2011. The main construction has been completed. Guihe Forest Park is built along Guihe River, starting from caoguanying reservoir in the East, kangzhang bridge in the West and Sanlihe Wetland Park in the north. It runs across Yanqing County, with a total length of 18 km from east to west and covers an area of 1026 hectares. The picturesque scenery of the four seasons in the park well reflects the construction theme of "beautiful flowers in spring, beautiful trees in autumn and articles written by Qushui and Pinghu".

Main attractions

Guihe Forest Park mainly relies on the construction of Guishui River and woodlands on both sides of the river. Adhering to the concept of water as the axis, forest as the body, landscape dependence, forest city co prosperity and harmonious development, it has newly built and expanded ten landscape nodes, such as Fuxiang garden, Banshan lake and rose garden. There are more than 30 species of arbors such as Populus tomentosa, Robinia pseudoacacia, Fraxinus, Acer truncatum, Koelreuteria, Pinus tabulaeformis, spruce, and more than 40 species of flowering shrubs such as Forsythia suspensa, Prunus mume, brocade belt, honeysuckle, etc. in the park, the combination of wild flowers is all over the park, the pedestrian, bicycle, motor vehicle road system is perfect, the square is simple and beautiful, the visitor service center has complete functions and elegant shapes, and the pavilions, corridors, flower racks and other garden ornaments are beautiful Dry. The beauty of the park lies in the mountain, stone, forest, water, flower and grass. The elegance lies in the four flavors of clearness, seclusion, quietness and wildness.
