Egret Valley in Huzhou

Egret Valley, located in the south of Xisai mountain, gets its name because a large number of egrets live here from March to October every year. In spring and March, the peach blossoms all over the valley are as bright as the morning glow; in midsummer, the streams are full of fish and prawns; in autumn and October, the mountains are full of red leaves and the forests are dyed; in winter, the valley is still green. "In front of Xisai mountain, egrets fly and mandarin fish grow fat. Green Ruo Li, green coir raincoat, oblique wind and drizzle do not need to return. " Zhang Zhihe, a famous poet of the Tang Dynasty, described the magnificent scenery in his poem "yugezi" in the egret valley of Xisaishan, Miaoxi Town, Wuxing district.
