The main hall of Daming Palace in Tang Dynasty has a base 15 meters higher than the slope, 11 rooms wide and 4 rooms deep. Outside the hall, there are three levels of "jade steps" about 5 meters wide, and in front of the hall, there are more than 70 meters long tail road to hall steps. There are two pavilions, xiangluan and Qifeng, in front of the hall. The two pavilions are connected by corridors, forming a "concave" shape. This is the development of the "Que" system since the Zhou and Han Dynasties, and has affected the Imperial Palace and the Meridian Gate of the Forbidden City in the Ming Dynasty. Hanyuan hall is composed of the main hall and high Pavilion on the concave plane, which echo each other. The outline is undulating, the volume is huge, the momentum is magnificent, cheerful and brilliant, and it is full of spiritual deterrent.
In ancient times, some people described it as "like the life of the sun" and "like in Xiaohan", worthy of being an outstanding representative of architecture in the Tang Dynasty.
