Beijing Vocational College of economics and management

Beijing Vocational College of economic management (formerly Beijing Economic Management Cadre College) (hereinafter referred to as the college) is an ordinary university approved by Beijing municipal government and registered by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. It was founded in December 1979. The college mainly holds full-time higher vocational education, and undertakes the tasks of business management personnel training of state key enterprises and Beijing SASAC system, international cooperation in running schools, education of overseas students, correspondence education of Party school and postgraduate education. In 1988, Beijing international language training center was established; in June 1991, Beijing Industrial Party School (now Party School of Beijing SASAC) was established; in March 2003, Beijing Management College was established; in August 2003, with the approval of SASAC, Hebei Far East Vocational and technical college was transferred to the college as a whole to set up the South Campus of the college; in May 2006, Beijing Economic Management College was established with the approval of the municipal government College of technology. 　

The college has 13 teaching departments including Department of business administration, Department of financial accounting, Department of economy and trade, Department of information engineering, Department of foreign languages, Department of mechanical and electrical engineering, Department of electronic engineering and so on, with more than 5000 students; it has educational administration department, student affairs department, Training Institute (Training Office), School of international cultural exchange, School of continuing education, Department of scientific research and other departments; it has supporting applied economy Management and information technology majors as the main body of the professional structure system of comprehensive and coordinated development of economy, management, engineering, culture and law, including more than 20 majors in Higher Vocational and adult colleges, in which "business administration" and "financial accounting" are characteristic majors in Beijing, and "accounting" and "international business" are national and municipal higher vocational education and teaching reform The college is a qualified college to receive general higher vocational education and issue state recognized academic qualifications. It is a national business management training qualification College for enterprise management personnel, a qualification College for foreign students, a research center for accounting teachers in Beijing adult colleges, and a national computer rank examination point.

The college has a team of "double qualified" teachers with moderate quantity and reasonable structure, who are proficient in teaching and scientific research of economics and management. At present, there are 220 full-time teachers. Professors and associate professors account for 31% of the total number of teachers. 39% of the teachers have graduate education or above, and 59% of the teachers are young teachers in their thirties and forties.

The North Campus of the college is located in Wangjing New Town, Chaoyang District, and the south campus is located on the Bank of Yongding River, close to Beijing Wildlife Park, with convenient transportation and beautiful environment.
