Liaoning Tieling Lianhua Lake National Wetland Park is located in the northern suburb of Tieling new urban area, Liaoning Province. It mainly includes four parts: deshengtai reservoir, Wujiao lake, dalihuapao reservoir and Sino Korean friendship reservoir. It is a compound wetland type mainly composed of artificial reservoirs, paddy fields, rivers and small shallow lakes, with a total area of 4226 hectares. In history, Lianhua Lake wetland is surrounded by water on three sides, adjacent to Liao River in the west, Chai River in the north and fan River in the south, which is the confluence of the three rivers.

Location context

Liaoning Tieling Lianhua Lake National Wetland Park is located between the new and old urban areas of Tieling, Liaoning Province, with fan River in the west, Tieling new urban area (under planning) and Beijing Harbin Railway in the south, and Liaohe River in the north. The geographical coordinates are 123 ° 41 ′～ 123 ° 48 ′ E and 42 ° 15 ′～ 42 ° 18 ′ n.

Resources

There are 68 species of wild animals in Wetland Park, including 45 species of birds, 7 species of amphibians and 16 species of fishes. As a bird, there is one species of wild animal under the second class national protection, namely, the mandarin duck (AIX galericulata). The common species are Ardea cinerea, A. purpurea, A. Formosa and atadorna platyrhynchos. Amphibians include Bufo bufo, Rana nigromaculata, etc. The common species are Cyprinus carpio, Hypophthalmichthys molitrix, Ctenopharyngodon idellus, Carassius auratus, etc. There are 155 species of wild plants in wetland, which belong to 45 families and 98 genera. The main constructive species include Cyperus rotundus, Acorus calamus Linn, Phragmites australis, etc.

Development and construction

Tieling Lianhua Lake National Wetland Park Management Bureau was established in April 2011. It was approved by the municipal editorial board (tie Shi Bian FA No. 17) and subordinate to Tieling Forestry Bureau. It is a public institution at the deputy department level, with 7 personnel, including 1 Director at the deputy department level and 1 deputy director at the section level.

To be responsible for formulating rules and regulations for the medium and long-term development planning of Lianhua Lake Wetland Park; to organize, coordinate and supervise the management and protection of Lianhua Lake wetland restoration and park construction; to be responsible for the legal protection of wildlife habitat in the wetland park; to be responsible for the daily management of resource investigation, dynamic monitoring, and file construction in the wetland park.
