Shitang bamboo sea is located in qianshitang village, Hengxi street, Jiangning District, Nanjing. It is known as "xiaojiuzhaigou" in Nanjing. Various conferences such as 2011 China urban planning annual meeting are held and visited here. It is a natural place for citizens of Nanjing and surrounding cities to return to nature.

The south of the town belongs to Hengshan mountain range, and the west of the town belongs to Yuntai mountain range.

Construction and development

Qianshitang village is located at the junction of Jiangsu and Anhui, with 233 households and 694 people, and only 650 mu of arable land. But here is rich in landscape resources, green mountains, lakes and reservoirs, beautiful scenery. In May 2008, Suzhou Kesai group, Hengxi street and Nanjing Daily newspaper group jointly established Nanjing Kesai Tourism Investment Development Co., Ltd. to jointly develop rural tourism resources represented by "Shitang bamboo sea".

Nanjing Kesai company and Jiangning District government have invested nearly 100 million yuan in the construction of roads, scenic spots and development of scenic spots in Shitang bamboo sea. In the construction of scenic spots, combining with the natural features of Shitang bamboo sea, it focuses on the integration of resources, folk culture and humanistic transformation to maintain the original nature of natural ecology; in the concentrated transformation of farmers' houses, it relies on the appearance of Hui style, with obvious characteristics and pleasing to the eye In addition to the careful transformation of the open living and catering environment of farmers, the local farmers are also trained in tourism management to provide more considerate services for tourists.

On May 30, 2009, the opening ceremony of qianshitang village was officially held. Through tracing the origin of Hongwu bean curd, taking the theme positioning and tourism image of "Jinling bean curd No.1 village", and closely centering on a series of planning such as "bean culture", "bean products", "bean catering", "bean processing" and "bean planting", we can make full use of "bean articles" with "primacy", "uniqueness" and "participation". Construction content: waterfront landscape corridor, tofu themed food hall, characteristic tofu village Hostel, organic bean plantation.

"Shitang Renjia" is the name of the new village after the reconstruction of houshitang village project. It is located in the south of ganquanhu community, Hengxi street. It is 35 km away from the center of Nanjing in the north and 25 km away from MAANSHAN in the West. There is a tourist Avenue running through the North and south of the village, and Tangtong road connecting the urban area outside the village. The traffic is very convenient. The village covers an area of 190 mu, with 167 households and 496 residents. In September 2011, the village was listed as one of the five urban ecological leisure agriculture demonstration villages in Jiangning District, implementing the transformation of characteristic villages.

In terms of planning, we actively communicated with the District Agricultural Committee and the District Tourism Bureau, adhered to the overall planning of Hengxi new town as the guide, and in line with the principle of "light demolition and heavy renovation", adapted measures to local conditions, deeply excavated historical relics and cultural heritage, made full use of the superior natural environment and conditions, and extensively solicited the wishes of the villagers. Finally, we determined the transformation style of Jiangnan residential style, and invited the local residents Professor Sima of Tongji University has carried out all-round planning and design for a total area of 155 hectares, and has started construction.

In terms of landscape environment, starting from the village's own characteristics, we should integrate the original rural life and leisure tourism, transform the farmers' means of life and means of production, improve the living environment of the village, increase the villagers' income, improve the quality of life, and transform the former relatively closed agricultural planting village into a comprehensive tourism service village full of leisure mountain style To build houshitang village into a "Drunken Beauty village" among the "five golden flowers" of rural tourism in Jiangning District.
