Zhengding Wang family cemetery is an ancient tomb of Tang Dynasty, located in Muzhuang village and Yujiazhuang village of Zhengding County. According to historical records, in 1837, Shen Tao, the author of Changshan Zhenshi Zhi and the magistrate of Zhengding, discovered the epitaph of Tang Chengde Jiedu envoy Wang Rong outside Lijiazhuang village in the north of Zhengding city; from 1973 to 1979, three Tang tombs were excavated in Muzhuang village, and only one unearthed the epitaph Yihe of Tang Chengde Jiedu envoy Wang yuankui and the epitaph cover of his wife Princess Lu Guochang; in April 2007, the tomb was restored In the northwest of Yujiazhuang village in the north of Zhengding City, the epitaph of Wang Shizhen, the Jiedu envoy of the German army of the Tang Dynasty, was unearthed in the seventh bid section of the south to North Water Diversion Project. Except for the lost epitaph of Wang Rong in his early years, the rest of the epitaph is kept in Zhengding County Cultural Relics depository. According to the excavation of Wang yuankui and two Tang tombs around him, and the excavation of Wang Shizhen's epitaph, the Wang family cemetery has been robbed or destroyed in a certain period of history. At present, there is no data to support when this kind of excavation or destructive damage took place. However, as an important tomb in the middle and late Tang Dynasty, especially the unearthed epitaphs of Wang yuankui and Wang Shizhen, it provides a rare material material for the study of the political and military situation of chengdezhen, one of the "three towns of Hebei" in the Tang Dynasty. On October 20, 2008, it was announced as the fifth batch of provincial cultural relics protection units in Hebei Province.
