Siliandong

Four family dormitory refers to a Japanese style dormitory with four families and one building in Jiufen golden Museum Park. Each of the four families has its own porch, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and other equipment. Although it is a multi family dormitory, it belongs to a senior dormitory.

The four story building is one of the few Japanese buildings of special scale preserved in Taiwan (Japanese staff dormitory during the Japanese rule period), so it retains its original appearance and uses the original space planning as the exhibition and life aesthetic experience space.

In addition to the fact that the first house is not open to the public as an administrative function, the second house will be planned as a small space for art and culture exhibition and documentary broadcasting, the third house will go back to the Japanese occupation period, and the fourth house will show the use of Taiwan residents after the restoration. The management hopes that through the Japanese style comfortable space, visitors can understand the humanistic history and architectural beauty of the four buildings, and savor various aesthetic experiences in life.

Due to the relationship of building materials, the life of Japanese wooden house is limited. Only when the users are light, soft and slow, can it last forever. It is a precious memory left by the mine to carry the rich humanities and life of the past.
