Shanghai History Museum

The Museum of history of Shanghai is a museum that fully reflects the historical development of Shanghai. Since its preparation in 1954, it has collected a large number of cultural relics and documents representing the historical process of Shanghai. The essence of the museum is exhibited in Shanghai agricultural exhibition hall and Hongqiao road. It can see more than 4 hundred relics of Shanghai history museum. Majiabang culture, Songze culture and Liangzhu culture have rich remains in Shanghai, witnessing the civilization created by Shangyu in 6000 years. Shanghai History Museum was founded in 1983, formerly known as Shanghai Museum of historical relics. In 1991, Shanghai History Museum was changed to its current name.

The Shanghai Museum of history in the Oriental Pearl Tower is a historical museum dedicated to the development history of Shanghai in the past hundred years.
