The former site of the Xi'an Incident is located in Huaqing pool in Xi'an. The five rooms were built in the late Qing Dynasty, which is the second batch of key cultural relics protection units in China. In October and December 1936, Chiang Kai Shek entered Shaanxi twice. He took Huaqing pool as the "Xingyuan" and stayed in five halls. The glass windows and walls of the five halls still retain the bullet marks of the fierce battle.
