Lanshan sea monument

Lanshan sea stele is located in ayeshan seaside tourist resort, Lanshan District, Rizhao City. It is chiseled from the natural boulders on the seashore. There are four inscriptions written by celebrities in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is inscribed by Su Jing, Yan Yuxiu and other celebrities.

Lanshan "sea stele" is the only stone carving work of the ancients on the seashore reef in China. When the tide rises, it submerges into the sea. When the tide ebbs, it stands on the beach. It was first carved in 1645, the reign of emperor Yiyou in Qingshun

Su Jing, a member of antongwei, was a Jinshi in Ming Dynasty, and an official to supervise the censor. Regular script: "Xinghe Yingdong", "shake snow and spray clouds".

Wang Duo, a native of Mengjin, Henan Province, was an official of the Ministry of rites and a calligrapher of the early Qing Dynasty. He wrote in regular script: "the Pearl of ten thousand Dendrobium" and "the pillar of a raging wave".

The sea stele has a history of 300 years. Standing on the stele, you can see thousands of sails flying in the distance, seagulls gathering, and build a wonder.
