Shao Piaoping's former residence in Beijing is Shao Piaoping's residence in Beijing after 1916. It's a two-story building with a combination of Chinese and Western styles. On both sides of the main entrance are typical European style stone columns, and above the entrance is a sightseeing balcony. It's both Shao Piaoping's former residence and the former site of Beijing News hall. The three characters of "Beijing News hall" above the main entrance of the building were written by Shao Piaoping himself. In 1984, the Beijing News hall was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Beijing.
