Tongjiao temple in Beijing

Tongjiao temple is located in the needlework alley of Dongzhimen in Beijing. It is said that the temple was founded in the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in 1942. Kaihui Shengyu expanded the temple. The gate was changed to sit West and face east, and the residents around the temple were relocated. The temple area was expanded to more than 4 mu, and the temple was renamed "Tongjiao Temple".
