Lanting street is located in Keqiao District, adjacent to Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. It is adjacent to Jianhu street in Yuecheng District in the East, Fengqiao town in Zhuji in the south, Lizhu town and Fuquan street in the west, Fushan street in Yuecheng District in the north, and 17 km away from Keqiao district. Shaoxing Dalian highway passes through. Lanting Street covers an area of 83 square kilometers with 32000 people. It governs 20 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee. historical origin

Lanting street has a long history. In the spring and Autumn period, King Gou Jian of Yue planted orchids here. In the Han Dynasty, there was a post Pavilion, so it got its name. Today, the natural village of liwaihuangxian (Daqing Village after administrative village adjustment) in Lanting is the old capital of ancient Yue in the 19th century BC, and it is the earliest village in Lanting street. During the Xia, Shang, Zhou and Warring States periods, Lanting was the place where the ancient Yue people lived. The excavation of the mausoleum of the Yue Kingdom fully shows the long history of Lanting. According to Yue Jueshu ▪ According to the biography of the earth, "the ancient bamboo city was returned to Wu by Jujian, and was granted the title of fan Lizi." That is, to build a village in modern and ancient times. According to legend, Qianlong youlanting passed through Lougong in the town, and built the upper and lower palaces, named Yougong, which later evolved into Lougong.

In July 2017, with the approval of Zhejiang Provincial People's government, Lanting town was abolished and Lanting street in Keqiao district was established.
