Now the Chengmen site and the Wengcheng site can be seen in the East, West and North. In the south of the outer city, there is the inner city, commonly known as the Imperial City, which is slightly square and about 500 meters long on each side. The inner city is the thickest cultural accumulation layer in the city, in which there are large-scale building foundations, stone column foundations, and dense broken bricks and pottery fragments. According to the surface survey, the city was built in the northern part of the ruins of the old city in the Eastern Han and Northern Wei dynasties in the Tang Dynasty. After the Tang Dynasty, the buildings were stacked in the inner city, forming a cultural accumulation of 3-5 meters thick, some protruding about 2-3 meters above the ground. As early as before liberation, stone inscriptions such as "Tang Zhenshi Jiedushi Chanyu Dadu protecting Zhang Weiqing's Dezheng tablet" were unearthed here in 820 A.D.
Among the cultural relics unearthed after liberation are bronze and porcelain statues, bronze seals, porcelain, bronze mirrors and so on. In 1960, a large pottery urn containing "Kaiyuan Tongbao" copper coins weighing about 500 kg was unearthed. Many Tang tombs were also found near the site.
