Tai'an science and Technology Museum

Taian science and Technology Museum is a public welfare institution. It was founded in 1980 and is one of the six earliest science and technology museums in China. Now the museum was put into use in 1996, covering an area of 50 mu. The first phase project is a science and technology exhibition hall, with a construction area of 8700 square meters.

Detailed introduction

The science and Technology Museum has one room and four sections: office, exhibition and education section, youth work section, exhibits research and development section, science popularization section. At present, there are 24 staff, of which 95% have college degree or above, and 14 have middle or senior professional titles.

Exhibition area

The science and Technology Museum consists of two parts: permanent exhibition and mobile exhibition. The permanent exhibition includes four exhibition areas: Taishan resources exhibition area, popular science knowledge exhibition area, national defense education exhibition area, human science and children's world exhibition area; the mobile exhibition is mainly temporary exhibition, mainly showing popular science key points, science and technology hot spots and various thematic exhibitions. At present, the main work includes popular science exhibition, youth science and technology education, exhibition development, anti cult Association and science and technology exhibition.

Exhibition hall equipment

The museum has complete facilities and nearly 100 interactive science and technology exhibits. There are 200 sets of self-made removable and mobile science popularization exhibition shelves, and nearly 300 sets of common and special international standard exhibition shelves and supporting equipment, which can undertake all kinds of large-scale science and technology exhibitions, exhibitions and trade fairs at home and abroad.

In recent years, under the leadership of the Party group of the Association for science and technology, the science and Technology Museum has actively carried out popular science education activities for young people in urban and rural areas and people from all walks of life, popularized scientific and technological knowledge, advocated scientific methods, spread scientific ideas and carried forward scientific spirit, and received nearly 200000 visitors and learners annually. It has been awarded as "National Science and technology museum science exhibition education demonstration site", "provincial science and technology education base", "provincial science and technology work advanced collective", "the city's advanced unit of spiritual civilization construction", and "Shandong Province care about the next generation of science and technology education base" by China, Provincial Association of science and technology, municipal Party committee and municipal government.
