He clan ancestral hall is a family ancestral hall building built in Ming Dynasty, which belongs to the place where he clan worships ancestors and sages. The ancestral hall belongs to the Houben Hall of he surname, located in Bafang, Shabian village, shuiteng management area, Lecong Town. According to the first edition of He Shi Lue Quan Juan of Min Dynasty, it is said that If you look at the old genealogy today, your predecessors have spent a lot of money on it. There is no way to know when it was first built, but it was rebuilt in the 49th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi. " (1710) according to the existing architectural form, component materials, decoration technology and other objects of the temple, such as lotus supporting bucket arch on the head door, stone column and sandstone plate ornaments, they are all relics of the late Ming Dynasty. Therefore, the temple should have been built in the late Ming Dynasty, and its back seat and two corridors were rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty.

Houben hall has a wide surface and three deep rooms. There is a back building outside the main building, which is the old kitchen of the hall. At the end of Tongzhi, it was modified to have a hall and a kitchen for small gatherings. The head gate is of xieshengshi style, with lotus supporting the bucket arch. The four pillars and the bottom beams on both sides are made of stone. The cross beams are carved with auspicious animals, flowers and plants. The outer walls of the two storehouses of the head gate are decorated with reliefs of auspicious animals such as dragon, horse and unicorn. The lines are rough, simple and vivid. They are the crystallization of the wisdom and creativity of the working people. One of the better existing ancient temples in our county is now the site of Shabian primary school.
