Laozi Mountain in Rongshui

Laozi Mountain, or Laozi Mountain, is located in the southwest suburb of Rongshui County, Guangxi Province. In Shouxing Yankou, there stands a 6-meter-high statue of Shouxing Weng, as well as more than 10 caves with different views, such as Luban rock, Shudu rock, niubiyan and fudiyan rock.

Laozi Mountain is majestic and straight, which looks like a tiger with head up and mouth open. Hukou is Shouxing rock, and next to it is Huer rock. Shouxing rock is also known as range rover rock. There are still cliff carvings of past dynasties on the cave wall. In 1987, jingguanlou, yuantongmen and Daxiong hall were rebuilt in the county.

In May 1989, master Xiucheng lived in Shouxing temple. Through the bridge of Buddhism, master Xiucheng actively raised funds and successively built statues of Buddha, Bodhisattva Guanyin, general Weituo and Laojun in the temple. Eighteen Arhats were also built in the tiger ear rock. In June 1989, Zhao Puchu, the former chairman of China Buddhist Association and famous calligrapher, wrote a couplet in his own hand at the invitation of master Xiucheng: "when the bosom friend is a Buddha, you should take precepts as teachers" to Shouxing temple, which has been engraved on both sides of the gate. In August of that year, the four words "Daxiong hall" written by Zhao Puchu were sent to Shouxing temple, which has been made into a large cloth plaque and hung in the hall. In the late 1990s, although master Xiucheng was in his 70s, he still spared no effort to raise funds from all sides and built the majestic new Mahatma hall and Tianwang hall on the hillside one after another. There are more than 20 monks and nuns in the mountain. Nowadays, the mountain has become a famous Buddhist resort. In 2010, it was rated as national AAA scenic spot. In 2011, he participated in Liuzhou tourism business card selection and won the "most influential religious and cultural scenic spot Award".
