Zhoukou Wenchang ecological park

Zhoukou Wenchang ecological park is adjacent to Wenchang Road in the north, wachonggou in the south, Dongyi road in the West and Lilou village in the East.

It is 10 kilometers away from Zhoukou City, covering an area of 2500 mu with a total investment of 120 million yuan. It was listed by the municipal Party committee and the municipal government as a key infrastructure project in the "Double Tenth Five Year Plan" in 2008. The first phase of the project, covering an area of 1300 mu, has been basically completed and opened to the public on January 1, 2009

After the completion of Zhoukou Wenchang ecological garden, it will become a comprehensive ecological botanical garden integrating forestry scientific research, popular science education, plant domestication, sightseeing, leisure and entertainment, with 26 scenic spots for citizens to visit. According to the plan, the ecological park construction project is planned to be divided into three phases: the first phase to achieve the forest landscape effect; the second phase to build flower viewing, economic plants, leisure and entertainment area; the third phase to build hotel, hot spring bath and other supporting service facilities. The construction goal of the ecological park is to complete the first phase construction project with an investment of 50 million yuan. Since the start of the ecological park project in May 2006, the first phase of the project has been basically completed after more than two years of efforts. The infrastructure projects of phase I project mainly include building 600 mu artificial lake, completing the construction of front square, central square, sightseeing Avenue, tropical botanical garden, ecological food city, Lake Island, wharf, sunshine beach and other projects.

The construction of Wenchang ecological park in Zhoukou fills the gap of no large-scale ecological garden in our city, improves the ecological grade of the city, optimizes the investment structure, and most importantly provides an elegant and comfortable playing environment for the citizens.
