Fupo mountain

The park is composed of multi-level mountain courtyards, the main body of which is Fubo mountain, with huanzhu cave, thousand Buddha rock, sword testing stone, Tingtao Pavilion, Banshan Pavilion, thousand people pot, big iron bell and other scenic spots and cultural relics. Visitors can zigzag up the stone steps, go straight to the top of Fubo mountain through the rest flat and the tower Pavilion in the middle of the mountain, enter the cave to explore and view the water, and reach the nameless island in the middle of Lijiang River through the floating bridge on Fubo lake.

Fubo mountain park is about 2 kilometers northbound from Xiangbi mountain park along the tree lined riverside to Fubo Mountain Park, another scenic spot of Xiangshan scenic area.

Fubo mountain is located on the West Bank of Lijiang River. Its isolated peak is half inserted into Lijiang River and half pillow land. It is 213 meters above sea level, 62 meters above the ground, 120 meters long and 60 meters wide. The mountain area is about 0.7 hectares. Fubo mountain is famous for the temple of Ma Yuan, the general of Fubo in the Han Dynasty, which was built on the mountain in the Tang Dynasty. It is also called Fubo mountain because the river is blocked by the mountain to form a swirling current and has the power to subdue the waves. Fubo mountain "steep mountain, pull up the sky.". In the southeast of the mountain is the river corridor, which can listen to the waves from the cliff; in the southwest is the climbing stone steps, which can be viewed from a high altitude. It is the best place to enjoy the panoramic view of Guilin, which is known as "a beautiful place for waves". There are many caves on the mountain, among which huanzhu cave is the most famous.

Huanzhu cave is located in the hinterland of Fubo mountain. It is said that in ancient times, there was an old fisherman who picked up a dragon ball in this cave and provoked the Dragon King of the angry sea. He caused trouble and brought disaster to the people. Later, the government ordered the old man to return the dragon ball to make the world peaceful. There are more than 100 Tang statues and Song Dynasty inscriptions in the cave. Among them, the title and self portrait of MI, a great calligrapher and painter of the Song Dynasty, and the poem by Fan Chengda, a poet, are precious. The east side of the cave suddenly opens up, and below the cave is the Fubo pool with deep, blue and quiet water. Near the river, there is a stone pillar hanging down, thick at the top and thin at the bottom. There is a gap of more than an inch at the bottom to connect with the ground. It seems to have been split open by a sword, which can be called uncanny craftsmanship. It is said that it was caused by general Fubo's sword test, so it is called sword test stone. There are curious visitors, who have been lying on the big stone block under the sword test stone, reaching out to touch the wonderful gap.
