Cangpo Ximen

Cangpo Ximen is the main gate of Cangpo ancient village, which was built in Yuan and Ming Dynasties. The main gate of Cangpo village has always been known as the "door". It is a regular ritual building. Its structure is of wooden archway type, with thick brackets, two floors of each roof, and two floors of each roof. The wooden columns tilt slightly from bottom to top, which is the "side foot" method. There are five beams in the middle. The "door" belongs to the architectural technique before Ming and Qing Dynasties, and its style can be traced back to Song Dynasty. There is a "Jinshi altar" paved with stone in front of the door. There are three steps from the road to the Jinshi altar, which is called "three trial steps". There are seven steps from the Jinshi altar to the door. Under the door, there are four pieces of granite "Taishi hat" pattern.
