Qingbang Island

Qingbang island is 47.5km northeast of Shenjiamen Town, near miaozihu island in the West. It is slightly elongated, north-south, 2.45 km long and 0.8 km wide, with a land area of 1.41 square kilometers, a beach area of 2.37 square kilometers, a coastline of 10.5 km long, and the highest point of huangpanglaoshan at 131.6 meters above sea level.

It is green in spring and summer, and the surrounding waters are indigo. The local people also call it the seaside, so it is called Qingbang island. The most famous "Potala Palace on the sea" is on this island, as well as "xifengwan Beach".

Qingbang Island

Qingbang island belongs to Dongji Town, Putuo District, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. It is 47.5km northeast of Shenjiamen Town, near miaozihu island in the West. history

The island is green in spring and summer, and the surrounding sea water is indigo. The local people also call it the beach, so it is called Qingbang island. In the Qing Dynasty, it was inhabited and engaged in sea fishing and cultivation. Qingbang township was established in the 1950s and 1980s.

At present, there are four administrative villages in Qingnan, Qingdong, Qingao and Shawan. In 2000, there were 1169 households and 3736 people, most of whom were engaged in fishery production.

There are 871 agricultural and fishery households in Qingbang village. The island soil is mainly composed of brown red mud sand soil, brown yellow gravel mud and gravel beach. The total plant area is 58.3 square kilometers, and the coverage rate is 41.3%. The main vegetation is Festuca arundinacea, Pinus thunbergii forest and upland crops on slope land. There are about 300 species of vascular plants. The coastal and island endemic plants on the island include Pittosporum, jatropha nipponica, Eurya marina, Eurya, Qianhu, hibiscus, Cyperus microphylla, Raphanus sativus, etc. The island is short of fresh water. The existing forestry land and cultivated land are 0.533 square kilometers and 1.87 square kilometers, all of which are soil and water conservation forests, with a forest coverage rate of 13.3%. All the trees on the island are young forests, with poor site conditions, dwarfing trees and no savings.

Traffic information: take bus No.3, no.6, No.7, No.9, No.13, No.15, No.20, No.29 to Banshengdong station in Zhoushan, and then walk for a few minutes to Shenjiamen Banshengdong wharf, where you can take a boat to miaozihu island.

Every day, Shenjiamen ship at 8:30 and return at 11:00.

Every day, the ship leaves miaozihu at 7:30 and 11:00, dongfushan at 8:30 and 12:00, and stops at Qingbang.
